I love it when you feel inspired and happy all day during a wedding! And what a wonderful day we had for this stunning Dublin summer wedding!
Eda & Simon got married in the Thomas Prior Hall in Ballsbridge in Dublin this September. The location is wonderful and also conveniently located next to the Clayton Hotel, where Eda and the girls were getting ready. Family and friends had travelled from wide and far to attend their big day.
These gorgeous bridesmaids dresses from Caris Closet were great because you can wear them in so many different ways. For that reason, each bridesmaid has an individual look they feel comfortable with.
The Thomas Prior Hall can be used for multiple purposes. As a result the ceremony was held here and later the dinner. After dinner the room was cleared again for the DJ and the dance floor. This is another reason to always look for the best possible venue that suits your needs.
After the ceremony we took some time for the family pictures and with the bridal party. Because of the gardens outside the hotel, we certainly had some nice backdrops.
For the couple photographs we headed to Herbert Park which is only a stone’s throw away. The park has a nice lake and a bandstand as well as some lovely tree lanes. Most importantly, there are many beautiful locations in Ballsbridge as well as Sandymount, therefore making it a perfect location for a wedding! Due to the weather we had even more locations to choose from.
Simon is looking very sharp is his suit by T.M. Lewin. And Eda her dress by Maggie Sottero…. what can I say. I was speechless when I saw it first and it looks and certainly looks good on her!
After the park Eda and Simon wanted to go to O’Donoghue’s to grab a quick Guinness. This place is very special to them as they met here on an evening out, therefore they loved the idea to visit again on their wedding day!
After the photoshoot it was time for the speeches, dinner and dancing!
Finally, Eda and Simon, thank you so much for having me as your photographer on your special day! I can still feel the warmth from you and your family! I wish you all the best in the future and see you again in Dublin!
