In July I had the opportunity to photograph another wedding in Ireland! The wedding was at the Millhouse in Slane, a gorgeous venue located next to the Boyne river.

This Irish/German wedding was so much fun. The happy couple, Ben and Suzanne picked the sunniest and warmest day to get married. Guests had flown in from all over the world to celebrate this special day.

A lot of DYI work was done to create a unique feel and look. Dark blue and mint green tones set the atmosphere. And the guest book was stunning! Images from all their guests who could leave a personal message.

German and Irish traditions were mixed throughout the day. The couple saw each other before the ceremony to take the images of just the two of them.

The Millhouse offers some beautiful backdrops with industrial settings as well as nature.

In the meantime the guests were arriving and the last details were completed before the ceremony.

Ben and Suzanne had a humanist ceremony let by Sally O’Kelly.

Bridal and family pictures were taken after the ceremony, followed by the speeches on a sunny terrace.

Suzanne made all the cakes herself! Aren’t they gorgeous?

The Hitmen Trio kicked off the night with some spectacular music and everyone danced the night away, followed by DJ Brian Brett.

You can read more about this wedding on the One Fab Day website here.
