Imagine! You are on holiday with your friends in Greece and you are at the bar, ordering a drink. A few minutes later, this gorgeous Irish man walks in. You decide to ask him for a restaurant recommendation and 8 hours later, a full tummy and some drinks later, you realise that something very special just happened. This is how Ulrika & Mervyn met a few years ago.

Ulrika, who is from Sweden, took a big step and moved to Ireland two years ago. And in May of this year, they took another big step and got married in the beautiful BrookLodge in County Wicklow. Swedish family and friends all flew over for this special day. Ulrika was getting ready in Brooklodge in the morning with her beautiful bridesmaids.

Hair was done by Christine from Hair Stop in Gorey and Make-up was done by Stacey from Making Faces, also in Gorey.

Ulrika and Mervyn got married in Ballyfad church, a 20 minute drive from BrookLodge.

As a few drops of rain threatened the day we drove straight back to BrookLodge for the wedding pictures. Upon arrival the sun had come back.

In the orchard we got accompanied by loads of chickens!

And then it was time for the reception.

Ulrika & Mervyn, thank you again for having me there on the day as your wedding photographer. I wish you all the happiness, health and goodness for many years to come!
